Your Passion. Your Creation. Your Life.

I was very impressed and had plenty of ideas and insights. It was so great to learn from you and to realise how inline the IEE is with our work and values! I believe you should share your discoveries everywhere because the model can be effective in both formal and non-formal education.

International entrepreneurship Education

The IEE program was created as an ERASMUS+ project during 2018–2020. It was a strategical partnership by three organisations: Educraftor (Finland), VitaTiim (Estonia) and coordinated by IAmTrading/MillCamp Academy (Denmark). The intellectual output is the new International Entrepreneurship Education, the IEE program.

The IEE in media

During the IEE project 2018–2020, the project team engaged with media representatives and different stakeholders in the education sector. The goal was to get outside perspectives to the program, and at the same time spread the word about the program. Through the interviews and press coverage, educators, entrepreneurs and young people in Europe and overseas were reached and influenced.

Silicon Vikings Blog post

Eilif Trondsen, Chair of Silicon Vikings on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Learning, looked through the IEE program and interviewed two project team members, Juhani Koivuviita and Peter Fagerström. Based on this, Mr Trondsen wrote a detailed overview, which was published on Silicon Vikings blog on 29.12.2019.

Estonian Teachers' Magazine

The Estonian Teachers’ Magazine “Õpetajate Leht” published an article on 10.1.2020 based on the interview with Juhani Koivuviita. The reporter Raivo Juurak was really inspired by the program. His feedback was that programs like this are needed and very much in line with the newest curricula, also the national ones in Estonia and Finland, since the IEE has the approach to support learning-centricity, self-leadership and lifelong learning.

Scan Magazine Interview

Scan Magazine did an interview with Ingerlil Teute on 10.6.2019 in order to advertise the IEE program. The article reveals the story behind the program, how it got started and what it is about. The goal was to engage young people to join the program, starting from August 2019.

My eyes were outsider’s eyes and to me, the process was very good. My experience is that it was a successful process, it was a working process in this kind of methodology, and it shows a result of 100% out of 100%, so the process was relevant in this methodology. Really nice and beautiful work! Margarita Popova on the EDUjam process

Comments about the IEE

During the development and piloting of the program, we introduced the program and its parts or modules to local stakeholders in Denmark, Estonia and Finland. Here are some feedback and comments from education and entrepreneurship experts from these regions.

Design thinking will not turn you into genius inventors. But after all, many of us are somewhere deep inside already ingenious inventors, and design thinking will help unleash this potential and test the boundaries of our creativity and rationality. So do not miss our next workshops – you may learn a lot about yourself.

I got inspired by the IEE program. I see possibilities when we start creating our business school to incorporate some of the modules or the approaches into our own curriculum. I would also like to explore the different ways to engage local businesses to widen our learning environment. And there, the EDUhack process seems to be a very appropriate place for collaboration.

Upper Secondary Principal, University of Turku Teacher Training School

My “aha moment” was when we were going to “deep waters” and people were in chaos and I was thinking “will we be able to get everything together at the end?” And the end was so wow! I was amazed by the beauty that came out of all that chaos!
